An Application for the Printing Industry Jorg Friedrich Diethelm Schlegel Universitat des Saarlandes Computer Science Department fjf, [email protected]{sb.de ABSTRACT: This paper presents a system which will be in use by the major printing and publishing companies in Germany starting second quarter of 1997. The most important features of CORGI II are the high speed and the high reliability of the transmission. We describe the basic ideas and solutions that lead to the nal system and present the performance data achieved during the testing phase.
